Maggie Magoo's® provides the staffing, supplies, curriculum, technology, and day-to-day program management. Schools host the program; we run it.
Enrollment, attendance, billing, and family communication run on our platforms. Nothing routes through the school office.
The same structure, the same staff training standards, and the same parent communication rhythms across every site we operate.
Once the program is running, school administrators and teachers can step back. We coordinate directly with families on everything afterschool-related.
Maggie Magoo's® pickup procedures are intentionally designed to occur after the primary school dismissal rush. Because enrolled families pick up students gradually between school dismissal and program close at 6:00 PM, pickup traffic is typically dispersed naturally over time rather than concentrated into a second high-volume dismissal event.
Programs are commonly operated from gyms, multipurpose rooms, cafeterias, or other designated afterschool spaces with direct exterior access, allowing parent pickup to occur efficiently and with minimal disruption to normal school traffic flow.

All staff undergo background checks before working with students. Additional training requirements are tailored to meet each location's state licensing standards.
Site leads and program staff hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Defined staff-to-student ratios, sign-in/sign-out protocols, and accounted-for transitions between every block of the afternoon.
Digital sign-in and sign-out through the Playground platform. Only authorized adults can pick up a child.
Clear emergency procedures, designated meeting points, and direct communication channels with school administration.
